   @NorthernBaron they've been raised in captivity but still it's hard to read birds. Not to mention they're also smart to the point of using tools. They can plan an attack for days or even weeks.
   
   They're basically a modern day velociraptor.

     I'm not anywhere near brave enough to do that. I'd take a black bear or even a cheetah before a cassowary.
