     @envelopeme @WisdomExplained You present a false dichotomy, you believe in some form of god either way which makes entire sense if you think about it. Religion is not reall a tool of control especially when (Christian ty) only has provided good moral and ethnical structures.

     @dcc @WisdomExplained An objective material claim like that of a god isn't something you need to find from inside yourself. You can test it, say the claim of heaven up there (we've been there), or that of immortality (your whole identity dies with your neurons). If you collect enough of those evidences against and for a claim like god, you can be pretty certain of your claim, which heavily skews towards non existence. Many of the religious propositions are a matter of joke these days. It has nothing to do with me hating myself as long as I'm performing the tests in good 'faith'. Religion just like other totalitarian ideologies is a tool to control masses, nothing else
