    Such a miserable story: an all white-school board forces a teacher to remove a Pride flag and a Puerto Rican flag from a classroom. The teacher, one of the few Latine teachers in a 2/3 Latine district, resigns. “Schools are a neutral place” explains the superintendent.   Opposing abortion even in the case of a nonviable pregnancy, where the patient's life is at risk, somehow doesn't stop people from calling themselves “pro-life”.

  Almost no one who advocates principles is willing to pay the price of integrity
  Also, the fewer principles you hold yourself to, the less you have to pay for holding them with integrity
