     @jill I've not eaten any of the goose eggs but I regularly eat the eggs of my chickens who, bless their little hearts, haven't left their coop since the start of the cold snap. lol

     @jill Yes, they're mine. It still freaks me out a little at just how cold hearty they are. They have wind breaks and shelter and choose to hang out in the one fully exposed corner. lol
     
     And yes, the snow is very crisp. It's actually very nice. Only a few inches deep after melting and refreezing on the surface over and over.

     ...as for snow...we don't have much accumulation...just a few/several inches...but the crispness of the cold temps is lovely... especially with the sun shining... :blobcat_snow:
