@skyfaller so, here's the benefit of fake sanctions: they give the Biden Administration some daylight between supporting Israel and supporting far-right Israeli extremists in the Netanyahu government and their ethnic-cleansing programs.

For example, Kamil Galeev complains that sanctions against Russia have failed to target high-tech CNC manufacturing machines and similar items that can only be purchased from and maintained by the West.
