      There is a pipe in the yard, but no meter. When they remodeled this house they did away with the gas lines. I would have to buy a meter and run new gas lines.

      We had zero this time. I am well stocked on propane generators and ethanol free gas this time of year though. I too remember having to decide which of my sister's kids looked most edible last winter blackout

      There have been some sporadic rolling blackouts through this cold spell. My house wasn't chosen this time, but I keep a generator and fuel handy at all times after the last time they attempted to kill my family
