I’ve had quite a few Lamy fountain pens over the years. Great pens. Mostly had Safaris. Cobbled all the broken ones together to get two extra new pens.
I would also recommend
1) Kaweko: Czech. Great quality and value. Minimalist 1930s design. No pocket clip. Writes beautifully.
2) Pilot (Elite model): Japanese. Superb quality. Very flexible nib as favoured by Kanji script writers, and me!me likes this.
