     @vic @boeswilligkeit that's not a bad way of looking at it: but I'd put it this way: as soon as the food supply is uncertain things will *absolutely* happen. The only question is will anything move the needle before that.

     @vic @boeswilligkeit I think a lot of people have been numbed by the "well, we are still a first world country" and a shock out of that will trigger reevaluation.
     
     It's similar to how covid broke a ton of people of the "work hard" mentality
