?????? ???????????? (istvan@poa.st)'s status on Wednesday, 17-Jan-2024 01:17:47 JST ?????? ???????????? Hey @p are you able to find @istvan ?
Have had some success exchanging messages with Pleroma and mastodon, but seems like when I @ a user the post goes nowhere, but if I reply to them it works fine. Probably malformed.
does an OK job of vacuuming up public posts and serving to gemini, also following and replying from gemini, but man it’s flaky. early beta software at best.- pistolero :thispersondoesnotexist: likes this.

?????? ???????????? (istvan@poa.st)'s status on Wednesday, 17-Jan-2024 02:13:07 JST ?????? ???????????? @p @istvan I need to check the code, but I think they are treating inbound as non canonical and process it for viewing in gemini before storing it into the db.
That way the clients are dead simple. You can post from gemini using SSH keys to ID the user, but it’s readable via finger and gopher too.pistolero :thispersondoesnotexist: likes this. -

?????? ???????????? (istvan@poa.st)'s status on Wednesday, 17-Jan-2024 05:10:54 JST ?????? ???????????? @p @istvan Nope. It's doing the processing in the module. DB is storing the JSON untouched. pistolero :thispersondoesnotexist: likes this. -
