   Sorry, did I say compensate the victims? I meant compensate the slave holders.

     @aral @LewisHarrington I am surprised the GOP hasn't come out championing "reparations", too, for the descendants of former slave owners who were deprived their "property" during the "war of northern aggression". I really shouldn't be giving them ideas...

     @gnutelephony @aral @LewisHarrington they were already reparated by the government that ended slavery. The government bought all the slaves from all the slaves owners.
