     My favorite part of this is that since the likes of you and I already lived through the negative consequences of SWATing, if not personally, then second hand, and we've known about it for a long enough time that the dust has settled, that when we read about it happening to people at the top, we're going to either be amused or bored by it depending on which side of the bed we woke up on.

     They've only started actually giving a shit about swatting in the past 2-3 years because it started happening to people who were important. Nearly zero fucks given over the past prior decade despite tons of public outcry begging for a solution. Nothing changed even after a completely innocent guy got shot to death by pigs over it, all that made the government do was actually investigate it for once so they could make an example out of a single swatting faggot from the pool of thousands who have continued to do it with near-impunity.
