    Adam is worried about what others said on NAS dooming his campaign, while he's said a million things himself on the podcast that will ruin his chances. He sees these problems in others that are exactly what he is guilty of. That old Dutch saying again. He doesn't need god, he needs therapy. But it's ok, even if he loses, he'll claim the election was stolen by aliens and the WEF. And most of his listeners will believe him. Let's just hope nobody gets shot. #ITM #TYFYC #TBPITU #NoAgenda

      It's the problem with free speech generally: it is a binary. Either you accept all of it or you go down the path to not having it.

      @p makes a convincing argument along these lines. Free speech is there for the stuff that people would suppress, even if I think a lot of it is insane and stupid.

      @amerika No. I’m in this camp as well. I can see the concern about the people who have signed up for the instance (so have No Agenda addresses) who treat it as the troll room where anything goes, and being associated with the podcast, Adam and John. First and foremost, it and they are entertainers. It’s a business. The donations may be down, temporarily, but probably nothing compared to if NAS continued on and became a complete sewer and alienated all the hardcore listeners/producers.

        So he hates that people created accounts on NAS and posted stuff he didn't want associated with NA, but because he still wants people to believe he's a free speech warrior, he'd rather shut it down than do what everybody else does and moderate it. This is the problem with NA generally. It's edgy branding and acting better than normies, instead of dealing with reality. You have incentives and make mistakes, just like the m5m. Let's make it all better together, not talk shit about everyone else.

      Am I the only podcast listener who thinks highly of Adam and John and believes they are essentially honest?

      I think he is willing to stand up for what he believes, but does not want to be lumped in with the #JQ crowd or some of the normtard Republicans.

      > Either you accept all of it or you go down the path to not having it.

      That is the deal, yeah. There is no way to prohibit any opinion without creating a means of prohibiting opinions. Once you accept that, there's institutional buy-in. From there, it is a matter of degree, and the degree will be inherently fuzzy and subjective.

      > Free speech is there for the stuff that people would suppress, even if I think a lot of it is insane and stupid.

      Absolutely.

      Most sea turtles are eaten on the way to the ocean after they hatch. The overwhelming majority of them, in fact. We still have sea turtles because some of them manage to make it. Someone wanders over to the mother as she's dumping a clutch of eggs in the sand and tells her "Hey...most of these are going to fail. You should only lay the eggs that will survive and thus matter. Just don't lay the bad ones." It's just not an option.

      > I mean even Alex Jones doesn't believe inter-dimensional child molesters are real, right?

      You have been sold a bill of goods on the guy. I thought he was basically "Coast to Coast AM" and I didn't listen to him until he got banned from everywhere, all the things I heard were inaccurate. I do not think you'll agree with his politics, but he's not saying anything crazy, just he has a colorful method of delivery.

      @amerika

      "now that's a great question."

      it's almost like he's winking when he says the crazy shit, but then he also now knows lots of people believe that stuff and listen for it. maybe he's trapped and thinks something like being born again or doing good in elected office will make him feel better about what he's been up to. I mean even Alex Jones doesn't believe inter-dimensional child molesters are real, right?
