   See, this is why it's so infuriating that ADL is journalists' go-to source for comment every time there's a Nazi incident in Philly.

   They can't be trusted to differentiate between antisemitic speech and pro-Palestinian speech.

     And like, I want to be very clear that antisemitic speech has been present and real on the left in ways that are unacceptable prior to and especially after 10-7.

     But it is not antisemitic to call for ceasefire or an end to the state of Israel's genocide in Gaza. Period.

     Fascism always seeks a point where nothing means anything, where meaning is a void that fascism can fill.

     By noise, by confusion, by entitlement, by fear, by exhaustion, by panic, by getting people riled up and desperate, by getting people to shut down and give up, by convincing them they deserve everything and have nothing and thus have nothing to lose — whatever it takes. Nihilism is fascism’s food.

     * Antisemitic attacks pretending to be political critique, as well as

     * Legitimate political critique being dismissed as antisemitism.

     Zero space in between for thoughtfulness, compassion, or nuance.

     What a train wreck.
