The article isn't necessarily wrong. Both spouses need to feel that the other is contributing. How that's expressed or arrived at may differ depending on circumstances.
Personally, my wife and I pretty much do all of the chores together. She rinses the dishes, I put them in the dishwasher. She loads the washing machine, I put the clothes in the dryer. She sweeps, and I vacuum. Etc.
She does all of the yard work though. Wetbacking 101.
Political marriages are usually bullshit. Two leaches attached to each other. There's usual no intimacy, often they're banging other people, and may even live apart. Willie Brown and his wife come to mind, they were separated and living apart long before Kamala ever entered the picture. That were married in name only and for publicity purposes. The Clintons are no different.
@Humpleupagus@VIcFury More than half of it in the current marketplace is finding a woman that has any useful skills + at least somewhat of a work ethic.
After that is communication, then distributing chores based on skill and/or interest.
The rest is preferences and small details that can be ignored or worked out as you go.
