Radiation therapy is complete as of Friday 12 January 2024. They graciously asked if I would like to keep my mask. I accepted. I’m sure I’ll make something else using it but for now, consider this another way of documenting my cancer journey.
The king of nothing is dead. Long live the king of nothing.

1. Black and white self portrait of me with my hair down, sat on a chair with a medieval cape/robe on (faux fur lining) legs open. My head is leant back while I’m looking directly into the lens, holding the mask moulded to fit and protecting my face during radiation treatment. I am also wearing black tights with a massive ladder in the left knee/lower thigh area. They have a subtle reptile skin pattern throughout except on the waistband which has the word “MASSIVE” embossed on it (the word is obscured by my hand). The photo has a plain white background.
