   The reason I'm not on board with some Fedi admins' plans looking into running his own registrar and/or tld is that I believe they will take your application money, then look at you, and deny your application (and keep the non-refundable application fee.) Nothing is going to require them to service your request and they are under the same pressures as every other service.

     @Moon from what I've seen it's all a losing fight and you're gonna have to start putting cable in the ground if you're not willing to give in an inch. I commend the effort but you ought to know when to stop caring

     @Moon Also I don't trust them anyway. The bastards say that they will deny any duplicate / confusing TLDs and they allow both .photo and .photos to exist
