     @battlepenguin @mrman I have a friend who drove from British Columbia to New Brunswick and he had to pass through the prairies which are completely flat. You can see forever so if there was anything you were going to crash in to, you'd see it from miles away.

     He was in a muscle car speeding probably as fast as this guy. He passed a cop on the side of the road hidden behind a sign.

     He saw the lights in his rear view mirror and pulled over to wait.

     @battlepenguin @mrman When the cop finally caught up to my friend he said it was a good thing that my friend stopped because he had already radioed to the next town to set a few cars with their lights flashing on the road to catch him.
