@mrman Wouldn't they just call the police dept in the next town to stop traffic and put down spikes?

You can see forever so if there was anything you were going to crash in to, you'd see it from miles away.
He was in a muscle car speeding probably as fast as this guy. He passed a cop on the side of the road hidden behind a sign.
He saw the lights in his rear view mirror and pulled over to wait.
