   @ReneeWestberry but why do CEOs hate work from home that much? At least in the US because I don't hear much complaints here in Belgium...

     @Etheria @ReneeWestberry one reason is that it lowers the property value of commercial real estate and everyone is collectively shitting their pants over it because the CRES industry is in a very bad position. If the value goes down, this destroys the LTV (loan to value) and will cause bank failures because banks made loans they shouldn't have.
     
     So really the pressure appears, to me, to stem from:
     
     Banks/Wall Street ➡️ Investment class ➡️ C-level execs of corporations
     
     If this isn't solved the domino effect could very well lead to a liquidity crisis worse than 2008 and companies that appeared sound will fold.

     The CEO at my husband’s work is so infuriated that the managers let them work from home to avoid commuting during a blizzard that he just sent a company wide email banning anyone from working from home EVER.

     In case you’re wondering how the corporate class is doing… 😐
