     The UI used by Truth Social is Soapbox and afaik it simply never referenced Mastodon. They published the source code before it even launched.

     @mkljczk @stux He claimed he wrote it, deleted any trace that it was Mastodon from the UI, and only provided an archive of source code when he received a legal threat from Gargron.

     I don't know what you consider "stealing" when regarding free software, but if that ain't it, it's pretty close to it
