Waltzing Blindy, Into The Trap.
When The Emperor Is Naked.
This bombing is unlikely to achieve any meaningful degrading of Yemeni missile and drone capabilities, but it will rally more of the global Arab and muslim street to the side of the Houthis. It also raises the risk that the Houthis, who up until now had only targeted ships linked to Israel, will expand targets to include U.S. and U.K. vessels.

@Rogue Runner you have made several good points, I hope I can address each one of them. Firstly, the Houthis are hardened, seasoned, warriors, that have been constantly bombed by the Saudis, using American weapons and ammo, so they know how to react, to these predictable strikes. They know, that the west is itching for a fight with Iran, and I think Russia, China and Iran, themselves, also know this. I wouldn't be surprised, that the Houthis, knowing that, the US and its coalition allies, would act impulsively, helped to provoke them, into launching these strikes. Their motives, may be yet unclear, however, it would be a good strategy, if one wanted to draw the United States, into a war, where they may or may not have to employ troops, in the middle of an election year. So far, the Washington dimwits, seem to have fallen for the bait.
I don't like bullies, especially foolish, impulsive, dishonest ones, therefore, I'd obviously, like to see the underdogs, the oppressed, the righteous warriors, if one will, have a win for a change. I also think, that there are many in Iran, who know the score, who despite the odds, are perfectly willing to accept the challenge, once and for all, just to move out, from under the spectre, of the constant threat, of a looming attack and would like to once and for all, get it over with. It would not be a surprising fact if they have plans for just such a contingency. Or, I'm hoping that they do. It wouldn't be surprising, if the Gaza operation, as horrendous as it is, is merely a pretext for both sides, to choose what's right, or what's politically expedient. We are seeing that Israel and her western allies have chosen the latter and are risking alienating the Arab and Muslim, surrounding nations, which would make the logistics of this war, wear even more heavy on them.
Israel abandoned their Gaza settlements, I think, perhaps, almost two decades ago now and I'm curious why, suddenly, why they think that they need them back. I'm not sure what the true motives are, especially between Israel and Hamas. It seems foolish, that Hamas would have struck Israel, knowing full well, how the Israelis would react. What if Hamas is being set up, just so that, there could be a wider escalation to the war, we now see festering? I think that this, is a distinct possibility and if so, the people orchestrating it, would be very callous, calculating, murderous and just plain evil.
The whole situation, which occurred on October 7th 2023, seems orchestrated, pre-planned and highly convenient for the collective west, especially the United States. If Hamas isn't being set up, it is a party to the suffering of the people of Gaza then. Again I don't know the truth of what is really at play here, except, that very real people are dying and being killed. That much, I think, may be true, even if I haven't witnessed the souls, leaving the lifeless bodies. If the carnage is comparable to what the glass does show, then it would be reasonable to think that people are indeed, dying. However, only those there, in the experience, actually know for sure if this is indeed playing out or, if it's all just a play in another psychological war to illicit more fears and emotions. Also, why would Israel need thirty or, forty billion dollars to complete such a war? There is something even more nefarious at play here which eludes even the most fertile, of imaginations.
I hope my points and thoughts were clearly stated and I'm anxious to hear, just what you, also think.

Throwing more matches onto the powder keg... are the Houthis asking to much when all they want is a full stop to the genocide going on in Gaza..? Seems like a no brainer to me, at the risk of the whole world. Yet America/Israel are willing and wanting to bring in a full scale meltdown and world war to show the world who is the boss. They want to bring Iran into the conflict to start the shit show and finally have their way.
Iran on the other hand (backed by Russia and China), could simply shut down the Straits of Hormuz and cause the price of oil and LNG to basically double in price. This move would essentially cripple or collapse all the western economies including Europe. And if that happened America/Israel would go full ballistic and the shit show is on.
Instead of just having a full stop in Gaza... hmmm. They are not mad, they are insane !

@Marshall Sutherland (Posting with Hubzilla) I haven't been looking too hard either, since I'm thousands of miles away with no assets on the ground but it seems to me, that their behaviour seemed uncharacteristically, sloppy. Apparently, we're all to believe, that an army that is constantly on alert, somehow couldn't gleam a single bit of intelligence, foretelling the upcoming events.

I'm still waiting to find out how the IDF managed to be caught with their pants around their ankles that day. Not that I have put forth any effort to look for explanations, so maybe they are out there.
