Text reads: "Suppose there were no street cars-- Motorists, stopping behind a street car, may at times feel that it would be better without trolleys on the streets. At first glance this might seem so, but a little thought would bring a very different picture. Instead of the way of the motorist being cleared, it would be blocked by hopeless congestion of traffic. The street car is indeed the agency that makes it possible for the motorist to get through teh streets. The modern street car, carrying its 90 or more passengers to the automobile's average of less than two, is the real saver of street space. It carries from 75 to 90 per cent. of all passenger traffic. Without street cars or some similar vehicle, streets would be so blocked with traffic that progress would be impossible, downtown business would be a memory, stores would be without patrons and property would be valueless. The street car makes possible the use of your automobile in Vancouter. British Columbia Electric railway"
