@rimugu and re: no group is all bad

Point is gringo is derogatory and I’m not redefining history or anything to say that. Gringo is used consistently even for people liked. Beaner isn’t really derogatory in comparison. But if I say Americano, “well actually that’s offensive”.

Gringo is more derogatory than Beaner? That is a new one to me. In freedom, lets use both and have those thin skinned sort it themselves.
Americano is offensive if you think America (the continent) is for the Americans (the us government), as it was applied during the XX century.
I won't use the name of a continent for just one country, not for offense, lets be not snowflakes, but to avoid confusion (weather I am talking humans from a continent or a country).

@rimugu in English I always say American. I honestly have never heard anyone refer to themselves or a group of people as Americanos when wanting to refer to people in the Americas. Rarely are we grouped together anyway. But in Spanish or “when in Rome” I use gringo just to avoid the constant correction (“well actually”), but it has always bugged me because gringo is used consistently and pins the relationship into a negative one. 🤷♂️

      We aren’t all bad.

Have not found yet a big group made of all bad (or all good, for that matter).
But gringo is short and easily pronounced in two languages, plus I like green.

      @rimugu ya I understand that.

And I understand that all of Latin America will always enjoy making fun of Americans which isn’t all bad I guess. I’m not French after all, and I can take some kidding 😜 especially because we are arrogant and could use some kidding.

Just would like some mutual respect because I see Latin America go to socialism partly because of the animosity towards Americans and that’s a big mistake.

Ok. Quick question to you. Curious what you think of:
      Gringo vs Americano vs estadounidence?
None of them work for me. Estadounidence isn’t better than Americano because of Mexico. 🤷♂️

Gringo (green-go) is fine with me.
US citizen if I am feeling in the mood.
Estadounidense is fine (Mejico just plagiarized that part), except its too long.

@rimugu @amerika ya, the only difference between globalists and fascists is that fascists think borders matter.

I disagree. I think fascists attempted to do good for their people; Communists never did.

But the broader rule is that we on the Right should never use the language of the Left.

We oppose them; we are not interested in compromise.

Don't care much about attempts, its what they always say, "it was not real socialism".
We should use the language of truth. Socialists, marxists, fascists all are collectivists leftists and evil. No compromise, just the truth.

Marxism and fascism are both collectivists that use force and that sprang from hell.
I prefer the short collectivists, to include both (and others), but for sure fascists are enemies.

I never trust the conservatives that insist their enemies are "fascists."

Using Leftist language never got us anywhere.

Our enemies are Communists, and fascism just took notes from that back in the day.

Korean? Now that is a problem, Korea is doing the harm to the world on this century what Mejico did to the world last century. Telenovelas, soap operas.
My daughter cannot stop looking at those Korean soap operas. Just kidding.
