even before I joined NAS, I considered having my own instance...

Sure, you can follow anybody on any other instance, but it doesn't FEEL the same.
NAS, to me, is like a coffee shop.
If I did not like it, I would not go there.
If I like ENOUGH about it, then I'll stick around. But that means tolerating the occasional LOUD PERSON...
... or drunk guy SHOUTING PROFANITIES. Whatever.
Once in a while, it breaks things up, TBH. But I do not like chaos ALL the time.
