50 years ago there were 13K homeschoolers in America.
Today it is over 5 million.
Nearly every classical charter in the country has a waitlist.
More than 100 new classical schools launched this year.

@Djeep What is a classical school, do you have a link I can look at? I'm interested
A classical charter school is basically a type of school that mixes two things: the good stuff from ancient Greece and Rome education styles and the freedom of a charter school. They focus on making students smart and good people through a tough curriculum.
@Djeep OH FUCKING COOL I was hoping it was something like that!! I'm going to check that site out, thanks
@GelatinousRube @Djeep we moved to a similar platform 7 years ago. It has it's positives and negatives. Our school is on-campus two/three days and home school the other days. It's really an interesting platform.
NICE!
@Djeep get the fuck out of public schools
@Djeep Woa, that is a huge "movement"! I heard of it, but did not understand it is so big. And so puny 50 years ago (that was the most surprising to me). Was there more local control of school back then?
Side note: In Sweden, home schooling is illegal....
Wow did not know that...
Much more local control back then...and less marxist crap
