Coyote (coyote@social.singing.dog)'s status on Friday, 12-Jan-2024 09:39:14 JST Coyote @RustyCrab I've seen 2.5" drives that had micro 3 / USB-C ports and thumb drives pushing a terabyte, but I don't think I've seen a thumb drive with a volatile cache. It'd have to have a battery big enough to flush the whole thing seeing as how common it is for people to rip them out as soon as possible. Someone probably makes a USB to NVMe enclosure, though I'd be skeptical of its performance.

Rusty Crab (rustycrab@clubcyberia.co)'s status on Friday, 12-Jan-2024 09:39:15 JST Rusty Crab Is there such a thing as an external SSD in the form factor of a thumb drive? I basically need a thumb drive but without the shit performance and a proper cache.
