to clear up the Valve stuff:
- tf2:s2 was entirely just a port of an existing game that still makes them money, just importing the assets without much change into s&box. somehow i doubt the "valve of old" would be happy about the entire campaign of half-life 2 being ported over in its entirety to like. idTech 4 or Unreal 3 or some shit
- portal 64 was using official Nintendo SDKs. valve didn't issue a dmca for this, they asked the repository owner to back down.

This is why all of the Xbox homebrew is technically illegal, because all of it was made with the official XDK. Nintendo machines have the luxury of having homebrew SDKs made for them. Use them please.
