     @DaddyO I would avoid Alaska. I’ve flown Alaska, American, and Delta this year. Delta was my favorite. United is known for terrible customer service.

     I've flown Southwest pretty much everywhere in the US without problems. Two checked bags for free is a big benefit.

     This is from a guy who used to fly American all the time and was platinum level for two years.

     @DaddyO We fly Allegiant all the time - mainly because they have cheap, direct flights from Ohio to Florida. No frills, everything costs extra – so we don't buy anything extra. They have nice perks for military (free bags and pet) and customer service is fine.

     @DaddyO I too recommend southwest. We flew with them for the first time for Christmas and I think we’ll stick with them
