   Some of the doors in the refrigerator section of my local grocery store have been replaced with screens showing the product inside (redundant) and literal ads.

   Also, there's a voice assistant coming.

     @AudraTran That's terrible. If my local stores do this, I'm going to try wearing shades. Or, I'm going to intentionally look at the things I'm NOT interested in.

     Even better, there are cameras with facial recognition that track where and what you look at.

     They started installing these at nearby CVS and Walgreens. I've thought about just smashing them more than once but I just stopped going there instead.
