     Sorry, Liza, but since I #DemEXITed the party long before even Clinton and Obama were elected because they were lurching hard Right even then, nothing Biden has done has reversed my course. I am an Independent Leftist. Neither Democrats nor Republicans will ever get my vote again.

     Woaaaah....what you've sketched out in your thread doesn't track with what I lived through in those eras. But before I say more I'd like to read the articles.

     No mention of Clinton policies should go without mention of the Gingrich Revolution arm-twisting that also occurred. Blaming one guy for what gangs of other people were doing don't cut any mustard with me.
