@royal @tal I have a Logitech M570 trackball. I like it!
Note: they have a newer model that can change to a more ergonomic angle. But the M570 is still fairly ergonomic.

@tal Any particular recommendation on trackball? Do you prefer trackballs in general, or for Blender specifically?

@royal I normally prefer a trackball, but find a three button mouse and keyboard (with numpad) fairly essential for Blender.
I imagine a graphics tablet would be useful if they're doing 2D sketching on the screen too, but I don't have any experience with that myself.

My kid loves #blender3d for modeling and animating spaceships. I know very little about it.
Are there any external controllers that would make this nicer, in addition to keyboard/mouse?
If so, I prefer something that works with both Win and Linux.
If not, I'd like to know that too.Thanks! Please boost?
