   @mgorny use REUSE.software and SPDX headers and everything becomes larger than the GPL notice.

   Though, I went the other direction over time and I'm more likely to use MIT/0BSD than GPL simply because nothing I write make a difference to be copyleft-licensed, but it can make a difference to be permissive-licensed.

     that reminded me of gandhi's saying: "it may feel like what you're doing doesn't make a difference, but it's very important that you do it". applies to copyleft as it does to most good things that the exploitative systems try to steer people away from

     what's your definition of zealot? someone who zealously points out flaws in your own zealotry?
