   @casey i buy a lot of physical switch cartridges and DRM-free games on GoG, but even those probably aren't safe. i would need to freeze a console or PC as-is and never let it update or break

     doesn't it make you sad that you're buying games and downloading them, and they won't be playable or accessible in 5 or 10 years?
