      @jxself copyleft is a lot better than what people usually do, but it's still copyright. I wish it would go away entirely.

      @lain Remember that copyright isn't the enemy - proprietary software is - and eliminating copyright doesn't eliminate proprietary software.

      @lain @jxself Two things in the US constitution: Copyrights and Patents (to indiv creators, not corp). What's not mentioned at all: Trademarks. All power descend from trademarks, more rights have been taken by trademark than anything else. What lives in perpetuity? Trademark.
