   I’m not sure what’s worse, the fact that they exist at all, or the fact that they appear to be commercially-manufactured cables that use molded plugs

     @s0 I am ever so slightly relieved that it appears to be a cable that was manufactured for the domestic Chinese market, based on the cable entry to the mains plug being 180° away from the earth pin
