   @yassie_j yes it good. but also a NAS is just a server, if you have a raspberry pi and a usb hdd enclosure you can roll your own NAS for very cheap and have full freedom to run whatever software you want as long as you can use linux.
   
   as for RAID, idk if i recommend it if youre only using it for media you got off available torrents. if its something you never ever want to lose, the best thing is making regular backups on hard drives that arent always plugged in

     Is getting a Nas a good way to offshore all these films and TV shows that are taking up valuable hard drive space on my laptop?
