   Monstrous decision that says women’s lives are not to be protected, even in the face of a medical emergency. Gun owners are fiercely protected in Texas. Women, not.

   A lot of people need to take a hard look at how they are voting or plan to. Who gets elected in Texas is one thing, but the Fifth Circuit is comprised of judges appointed by Presidents.

     Even after this scary moment, I still considered myself "pro-life" even though as I would not personally choose an abortion for convenience, if other women make that decision it's none of my business. Later, I learned this is actually a "pro-choice" position.

     Emergency treatment for a miscarriage should not be illegal.

     This is why we need women at every level of government.

     This is insane. Let's imagine this hypothetical scenario: A woman, bleeding badly, is admitted to the ER. While she is waiting, she fills up the chair she's sitting in with blood. When it's finally her turn there is a puddle on the floor.

     She says "I'm having a miscarriage."

     They say, "This is Texas, it's illegal to perform a D&C so go home."

     BTW that is not hypothetical. This happened to me, but since I'm not in Texas I received the D&C and therefore I am still alive.
