@neil I wish it was possible to opt to only do business with non publicly traded companies... I think the enshittification process of all of these business is just driven by investors desire for year on year growth. When a company isn't traded, it doesn't seem to strive for fast growth, and is happy with just turning a profit... Then they're a lot less driven to alter things that will upset their whole customer base but make shareholders happy.

Publicly traded is the polar opposite of this where some random dude made out of money can just screw it all for everyone.
