   @fluepke @neil I'm going to hazard a guess that for your setup bitrate is a DRM problem, not a service problem. If you have an appropiate locked down hardware-certified device none of the streaming services have an issue sending a 4K stream with appropiate bitrate to you, even at peak hours. But if you have a de-blobbed Firefox on Linux with no DRM certification you're stuck at IIRC 720p.
   Seriously, the quality difference between my Firefox and my Android TV is *stark*, even with DRM blobs.

     @neil instead of upping the fees, they should introduce higher bitrate video streams …
