   @hildabastian.wordpress.com It seems comments do not federate in either direction, maybe that's opt-in in some plugin settings?

   Importing comments probably involves synthesizing fedi users on the wordpress side, so maybe the default is conservative to spare the db.

     (lots of weasel words, I don't even have a wordpress site, but I know enough about web app development and federation to make an educated guess on how it operates 😇 )
