@Djeep Listening to this as I type... there is no denying that Jesus Christ as a human being historically existed. I guess the difference would be, whether you believe Mary had immaculate conception or not.
But in other ways, it might also be irrelevant. If you take some items of the philosophy which are good and wise, and apply them, that's good.
"Turning the other cheek" can be used sometimes. But as a constant, as far as I'm concerned... case by case basis.
@Djeep And just for me... the promise of life in a heaven of God... eh.
The problem is, that can be a cop-out for a lot of people.
If you know that this is your only time on the merry-go-round, and you might want to not be a DICK more on the karma basis or negativity attracting negativity... that makes way more sense to me.
And I have seen that in life happen. The converse happens too.
