In 2024, deactivation of accounts from platforms that directly work against our agendas of liberation is necessary. Last year was amazing in how much mutual aid, community building and solidarity has been built in the open Web.

We have an obligation to help folks move who can. Help transition their Twitter archives into static sites. Move folks to newsletters and blogs. Help spin up micro finding tools using whatever means to pull away from other fiscal traps.

Digital Activism doesn't stop at a hashtag or slapping a MIT license on a project. It requires action.
