   In Feb 2023, @transparenttech organized hundreds of academics, journalists, and civil society folks to respond to threats from Twitter to academic research.

   Our campaign, which organized mutual aid for many affected researchers, was covered by Science, Nature, TIME, NPR, the Washington Post, NBC, and countless other other media outlets.

   I also spoke at Social Sci Foo & had a *wonderful* time visiting UCSD to discuss my CASBS project on human-AI behavior

     What a full, wonderful year!

     In Jan I was halfway through a fellowship at CASBS. That month, I was privileged to:

     - co-host a meeting at the AAAS on faculty diversity in the US
     - have a transformative conversation with @ivansigal about embracing & writing about my disability
     - connect with @iftas, a nonprofit organizing trust & safety for volunteer social web content moderators
     - support Jasmine Walker's successful Stanford fellowship to organize volunteer moderators of color online
