@ScoWer22 No, Bill Gates never had a single good idea, plus he didn't steal DOS.
IBM wanted an OS for their soon to be released IBM-PC and some Unix guy didn't come to sign the NDA fast enough, so IBM was informed Billy could have an OS for them (via family connections as his parents were layers) and Billy came and told them he had an OS (lie) and signed that agreement to betray humanity so fast.
Not having an OS for Billy wasn't a problem, so he just purchased the source code of a "Dirty Operating System" from someone under unlimited terms, renamed it to MS-DOS, made some trivial changes and showed that to IBM (who accepted such utter garbage OS for reasons unknown).
The original author of DOS allegedly unauthorizedly copied some parts of DOS from someone else, but I having your software in DOS is a massive embarrassment really.- Sexy Moon likes this.

I don't believe that man ever had a good idea after...he stole some in the 90's?
