Me: (points at phone) Look at the wasp… that’s a single-celled organism… and that’s an amoeba.
Laura: You’re an amoeba.
And that’s how our morning is going :)

@aral but you're a cute one, then ☺️
@skynebula Aww, shucks! ☺️
Happy New Year, btw! Hope you’re well :)
@user_mastodon It it wanted to? Sure. Apple controls the software keyboard and any software keyboard can function as a keylogger. But would they? Not unless they lose their minds as it would destroy their brand if it got out (and it would get out very quickly). But what about on a targeted basis? Again, I believe (a) they’d resist it (b) it would be easier for a nation state to perform a supply chain attack and compromise the individual device than to compel a trillion-dollar company.
@aral Hello. Can Apple read/overhear user conversations from encrypted messengers on iOS/iPhones if it wishes? What is your opinion?
@user_mastodon Search for “software keyboard” at https://duckduckgo.com :)
@aral Thank you for your reply. Please explain to me what exactly do you mean by "soft keyboard"?
