#Fireworks rant:

People around here have been setting off fireworks on and off since last Friday, but tonight they're getting serious about it. Going by past years, it's going to be increasingly noisy until increasingly later until sometime on January 1st, then a day or two of assholes burning 'leftover' fireworks.

Neither of my cats is amused, stress-shedding by the bag as they are, and neither am I.

And that's without counting the possibility of injury or fire.
