Yeah it’s not just about asking them at all, although just would improve many interviews. It’s about finding the one question that cuts right to the heart, that throws what was obscured into sharp relief.
@inthehands Right, a well-phrased question about her answer about the economics (of slavery) would have also been super revealing.
@inthehands @deirdresm But why ask a follow-up when you can just run off to publish SHOCKING: Person You Hate Said Outrageous Thing and get all the rage clicks you need?
