     @alex I wonder if I can use nginx hacks to store indefinitely the profile images of these users without any other instance because mediaproxy for other instances ends up being about 100GB on disk within a couple hours for poast

     @graf The path has the original URL in it, but it's base64 encoded. You could regex match `Y2RuaW5zdGFncmFtLmNvbS` in the path, which translates to cdninstagram.com
