   @mikoto Yeah Canonical loves to self sabotage. I will grant that Arcan has problems, but they're more of the "holy shit please slow down this is way too ambitious of a project for one person to do" type than anything else. In any case, I think it's pretty mature and usable already, and this will only become more true with each passing day (as expected of a 20+ year old codebase)

     @allison @mikoto my problem is i'm quite familiar with window systems and their history, and i'm still confused about arcan. especially with the sprawling scope of the side hustles
     
     i just personally value clarity in communications and the sphinx-driven development gives me a rancid vibe. doesn't give me much hope development scales past a single individual
