From the Kitchen today....
A MASSIVE day in the kitchen 💃
I wanted to do some meal packs for the freezer, for busy days. In each pack I put:
🍛 Spicy chickpeas and garden greens (#MyRecipes)
🍆 Brinjal Dal Curry (eggplants curry with chana dal, #Annapurni)
🤟 Mung dal with cumin (#TheHareKrsnaCookbook)
🍚 Rice with peas and raisins (a simplified recipe from #LordKrishnasCuisine
🌿 Fennel Jam (from the fridge)
🔴 A scattering of barberries
Lots of protein in these dishes ✅. 4 packs in the freezer, and enough leftovers for my lunch with:
🍅 Green Tomato Pachadi (like a raita, #CookAndSee #Vol1) 😋
For a simple dinner:
🍅 Tomato salad with sumac onions (#Ottolenghi's #Simple) with papad
🥗 Green salad from the garden
🌶️ Sauteed chilli tofu cubes
🍋 Salty lime grilled asparagus (both #MyRecipes)
