What do you think is a good response to an in-law who suggests you should see a psychologist because you still are taking some covid precautions like masking in crowded indoor spaces?
Are we out of touch? I don't even know what to think or believe any more.

Kit Rhett Aultman (roadriverrail@signs.codes)'s status on Friday, 29-Dec-2023 01:58:11 JST Kit Rhett Aultman @QueerInTheCountry I'm at my nail salon. The staff are masked. They ask the clientele to wear KN95s but don't force them. All the pedi seats and mani tables have plexiglass dividers. You're not out of touch.

Kit Rhett Aultman (roadriverrail@signs.codes)'s status on Friday, 29-Dec-2023 04:40:38 JST Kit Rhett Aultman @QueerInTheCountry Yeah, I went back to the small Florida town where my parents live, and there was absolutely none. Fortunately, I wasn't in a lot of situations where it'd matter, or where masking would have been of limited help anyway (e.g. dining out). But you do you! Basic careful practices let me hold off my first COVID case for 3 years.

QueerInTheCountry (queerinthecountry@mas.to)'s status on Friday, 29-Dec-2023 04:40:39 JST QueerInTheCountry @roadriverrail Thanks for the perspective. I live in a very rural place and am often the only one or one of a handful masking.
That's very cool that your salon is doing all those things to care for you, other employees and clients ❤️❤️
